Chinatown Bureau is acquired by Icreon – A message from CEO Paul Miser

Big News! 

If the last year has been any indication for the future, the accelerated closing of the strategy > execution cycle is quickly becoming a key driver for growth creation. Organizations finding success in these complex times are the ones that are not only reinventing how they do business but are reimagining what value they provide for their customer. But the real differentiator is how quickly they can move on these strategies. So, in essence, organizational speed has become the biggest competitive advantage in today’s marketplace.

This is where the Icreon + Chinatown Bureau acquisition comes into play.  

When we started Chinatown Bureau in the dawn of 2017, we set out with a succinct mission – give companies the strategies and tools that would guide them to growth through the disruption and transformation of their industries.  

This comes with no limit to challenges. Not only have traditional growth opportunities diminished with the increased complexity of the global economic and political landscape, the growth of competitive forces from startup insurgents to reinvented incumbents and the dynamic and evolving nature of the consumer, but we are witnessing the massive acceleration of technology and behavior changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.  

To find growth in many industries, it needs to be created. Those that are succeeding in today’s market are, what we call, Experience Brands. Brands that are intentionally creating and capturing value throughout the customer experience – beyond a simple transaction moment. These Experience Brands are created at the intersection of Brand Strategy and Technology – not just from a strategic perspective but, more importantly, from an agile implementation of that strategy enabled by technology.  

That’s why, together with Icreon, we are creating an Acceleration Studio to bring organizational speed to our clients. By continuously identifying opportunities, rapidly delivering strategies then implementing with technology, we can create more momentum for our clients than ever before. 

The solution brings together a robust end-to-end approach to growth efficiently under one roof.  From brand and go to market strategies, traditionally provided by Chinatown Bureau, to extensive engineering capabilities, delivered by Icreon, clients across both groups realize immediate value and efficiency in their relationship with the organization.  

Chinatown Bureau will continue to provide growth strategy services with the enhanced technology offering of Icreon. I will remain Chinatown Bureau’s CEO / Cofounder but will also assume the role of Chief Strategy Officer for Icreon. 

I’m excited for this next chapter of the Chinatown Bureau story. Diving into the future with Icreon by our side opens a world of opportunities for you, our clients and the business world at large. Together, we are strengthening our resolve towards our mission – giving businesses the strategies and tools to grow in transformed or disrupted industries.
